Meet Dr. Garett Roop

Dr. Garett had a herniated disc at the age of 17. He continued to play sports and the pain got so severe that he could not even lift his leg up off the ground. He had partial discectomy surgery to remove the disc material that was placing pressure on his nerve root. After the surgery we was still experiencing limited range of motion and discomfort. He was referred to a chiropractor and after a care plan his range of motion had increased, the pain had subsided and he was back to playing sports and enjoying life. He graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, KS in December 2006. The highlight of his education was learning that everyone can benefit from Chiropractic care from infants to professional athletes. Dr. Garett Roop has been practicing for 10 years working with families, Top Olympian/ Professional athletes, as well as Kansas State University athletics. He is well-versed in Chiropractic care and has a passion for helping everyone perform at their peak level.

Dr. Chris Keirnan

Dr. Chris Keirnan was born and raised in Florida. After graduating from FSU, he ran a successful bicycle shop. During a bike ride, he jumped off a 12-foot wall leading to a back injury. He sought out Chiropractic Care. This is when he learned how the brain controls all of the parts of the body, including his digestive organs and sinuses. Chiropractic Care not only helped him recover physically from his injury, but it also improved digestion and reduced allergy symptoms. He decided he needed to become a Chiropractor and share this miracle with everybody.

Dr. Chris acquired his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta in 2007. He practiced for 3 years in Atlanta, 5 years in Asheville, NC, and 6 years in Denver, CO before finding his way to Durango.

He moved here with his wife Karen and their dog Ginger. In his spare time, he enjoys shooting pool, cycling, working out, and hiking for fun and fitness.
